Project Summary

This project is a temporary shelter for children and their family as they undergo treatment for leukemia and cancer. The shelter is mostly occupied by families coming from other provinces. This building is conveniently located beside the children´s hospital in Bella Vista. The foundation (FANLYC) financed this project with the support of several charity organizations and activities to collect funds. The first stage was built with the support of the Club Activo 20-30, using funds from the telethon 2002. This project was completed in two stages; the first stage consists of three two-story buildings with 16 equipped rooms, interior patio with finishes, a chapel, dining room, and activities lounge; the second stage consisted of a building with 8 rooms.
